Nepali Jhol Momo is a traditional delicacy from Nepal, combining the flavors of steamed dumplings with a rich, spicy broth known as "jhol." These momos are typically filled with minced meat, usually chicken, pork, or buffalo, seasoned with aromatic spices like garlic, ginger, cumin, coriander, and sometimes cilantro. After steaming, they’re served in a tangy, mildly spicy, and slightly creamy soup made from roasted tomatoes, sesame seeds, mustard seeds, and green chilies. The jhol, often garnished with fresh herbs, enhances the momos' flavors with its complex, tangy, and comforting warmth, making it a beloved dish during Nepal's cooler months.
